At 101 years old, Birdie's journey through the pandemic had been marked by separation and longing for over a year. She was unable to see her daughter despite living just miles apart. I had the privilege of working with CVS Health's “Heart at Work” project, capturing still photos of Birdie’s long-awaited reunion with her daughter.
